God is With You and For You

Do you believe God is with you? And do you know He is for you?
Have you ever felt all alone? Whether we are physically alone in a particular moment, or we are in a crowded room, our hearts may feel alone.
Yet, these are promises in God’s Word.
But if I’m honest, there are times that believing God is with me and for me proves difficult. Especially when hardships and hard situations come my way.
And I’ve learned it is not “if” but “when” life turns topsy-turvy without any warning.
Still, these promises never change and always remain true.
So let’s look at what the Bible says.
Do you believe God is with you and for you? When we belong to the Lord, the Bible gives us these promises to carry us through life's ups and downs. Share on XGod Is With You
Even though it’s not easy to admit out loud, sometimes it doesn’t seem like God is really with me. Friend, this is a lie from the enemy of our souls. Because we belong to God.
The Lord promises He is with us. And it all started with prophecy that the virgin would bear a child, Immanuel, which means “God is with us.” (Isaiah 7:14)
“I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5 (ESV)
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 (ESV)
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” Psalm 23:4 (ESV)
“Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” Isaiah 41:10 (ESV)
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.” Isaiah 43:1b-2 (ESV)

And at the great commission, “And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:20b (ESV)
When we know and believe God’s Word to us, we rest assured He is always with us—always.
God Is For You
Although we may face insurmountable obstacles, we rest assured that the Lord is for us. Even if others are against us, God is for us. And we must remember, we have a very real enemy—the enemy of our souls.
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus 14:14 (NIV)
Paul said this in the midst of suffering and persecution:
“What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” Romans 8:31 (NIV)
“In all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:37-39 (ESV)
“Then my enemies will turn back in the day when I call. This I know, that God is for me.” Psalm 56:9 (ESV)
“For the mountains may depart and the hills be removed, but my steadfast love shall not depart from you, and my covenant of peace shall not be removed,” says the Lord, who has compassion on you.” Isaiah 54:10 (ESV)

Father, thank You for sending Christ into the world. Remind my heart daily that You are with me and for me. When I feel alone, help me trust that you are there in the midst of my loneliness. If life is hard, help me remember You are always for me, fighting for my good and Your glory. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Amen. God is always with us. I find peace and comfort knowing I am being held by God. Have a blessed day dear friend! 🙂
Yes, me too, Melissa. “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5 (ESV)
These were such timely verses to share today, Karen, especially as we remember 9/11 and the tragic loss of Charlie Kirk just yesterday. He was a stalwart soldier for the Lord and a speaker of truth with love and respect for others. Grieving for his wife and children and reflecting deeply upon what 9/11 did to thousands of Americans. Blessings, my friend!
I agree Martha about the timing. I sit frozen last night in horror and literally sick to my stomach over Charlie Kirk. Such a brave and now fallen soldier for Jesus Christ. And the rememberance of 9/11 and the tragic events hit home today too. Praying for Charlie’s family and friends and for those who lost loved ones on 9/11. Grateful God is always with us and is for us in the face of trials and our enemies of darkness. God bless!
Thank you for sharing this uplifting message with us today. Sometimes we need to hear the words from someone else to help understand our Father’s message even more. I know our Lord Jesus Christ is true and faithful to stand for us . Amen
He certainly is standing for us and with us. Appreciate you leaving a comment. God bless!

Hi Karen. I’m thankful for God’s steadfast love and that He is with me and for me. It’s hard to comprehend how God will always keep us in His care and secure arms. How astounding He is.
It is astounding, Stephen. But we believe and know it’s true since the Lord is always faithful to His promises and Word. God bless!
