There’s Never Been a Day God Didn’t Love You

There's Never Been a Day God Didn't Love You

Have there been days you didn’t feel loved? Maybe days you didn’t love yourself? My hand’s raised.

Good news and God news: God lavished His love on you from the beginning. Even from day one in your mother’s womb, God loved you.

And there’s never been a day God didn’t love you. Not one single day.

Because God’s love is past, present, and future tense.

He loved us while knitting us in the womb, He loves us with every breath we take, and He will love us every tomorrow.

So let’s look at how we know there’s never been a day God didn’t L-O-V-E us.

L – Live loved by the Savior: never been a day

You are the beloved child of the Most High God.

Because love is not only something God does, but also who He is. In fact, God cannot not love. God loved us so much, He gave His only Son to give us eternal life.

When we know God loves us, we live differently.

We choose to live loved by the Savior and walk in freedom. Then we won’t waste another minute believing something about love God didn’t say. Whatever the world or culture or people tell you about love, God is the true definition of love.

There’s never been a day God didn’t love you.

O – Open your eyes and heart to God’s love

With humans, love sometimes has a beginning and an end. But this is not the case with God. His love is eternal and never-failing. It has no end.

“I have loved you with an everlasting love.” Jeremiah 31:3b (ESV)

“How precious also are Your thoughts for me, God! How vast is the sum of them! Were I to count them, they would outnumber the sand. When I awake, I am still with You.” Psalm 139:17-18 (NASB)

And God offers us a guaranteed pledge of love never eliminated from our lives.

“This I call to mind and therefore I have hope: The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end.” (Lamentations 3:21-22 ESV)

There's Never Been a Day God Didn't Love You

No matter the outcome of our experiences with other types of love. The writer of Lamentations reminds us of hope in God’s steadfast love.

It’s loyal, unwavering, unconditional, dependable, and never ceases…ever.

V – Value who you are in God’s eyes: never been a day

Perhaps you have faced rejection and you felt less valuable. We have assurance in a God who is constant, loyal, committed, dedicated, and quite fond of me and you.

And the Lord declares, “I’m so glad you belong to Me.”

“See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are.” 1 John 3:1a (ESV)

And God’s love is not an ordinary love, but extraordinary. It’s extravagant.

Still, does anyone promise to love you forever and really own up to it? Yes, our heavenly Father. He’s the real Promise-keeper of always and forever.

When we feel alone, we remember God is there. If we feel unloved, we remember God loves us. And the Lord never leaves us to tend to ourselves and He never checks out on us.

Remind your heart of these statements of value and worth in God:

I am loved. I am chosen. And I am redeemed.

So there’s no need for me to have an identity crisis. I take my cue about who I am from the great I AM.

I am loved. I am chosen. And I am redeemed. So there’s no need for me to have an identity crisis. I take my cue about who I am from the great I AM. Share on X

E – Educate your mind in God’s love letter

Jesus loves you, the Bible tells you so.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16 (ESV)

“Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13 (ESV)

There's Never Been a Day God Didn't Love You

“Who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy.” Psalm 103:4 (ESV)

Do you know, beyond any doubt, there’s never been a day God didn’t love you? It’s true!

Amen. I find comfort knowing I’ve always been His. 🙂 Have a blessed day!

Karen says:

God bless, Melissa. “I have loved you with an everlasting love.” Jeremiah 31:3b (ESV)

Such a blessing to know that God’s love never fails us; He has loved each one of us as His children and will always be here for us. We can never feel unloved when we remember whose we are. Such a great reflection, Karen. Blessings!

Karen says:

So true, Martha, thanks for your comment. Marth is loved, chosen, and redeemed by the Great I AM. God bless!

Linda says:

Thank you for this post. I needed to read about gods love. Sometimes I doubted it. Thank you

Karen says:

Linda, sometimes we doubt, especially if there are hard circumstances in our lives or people fail us in their love. But there’s never been a day, ever, that God didn’t love you. Not one. God bless!

Glory be to God. Thank you for sharing his word. Blessings

Karen says:

This truth about God’s never-ending and faithful love makes me want to shout a thousand Hallelujahs!

James Millary Millary says:

Thanks Karen for the inspiring message. May God bless you and your ministries.

Karen says:

God bless, James. There’s never been a day God didn’t love you, not one.

Praise the Lord for such good news. Your message is so full of encouragement especially when I’m not at my best example of Christ. Thanks Karen.

Karen says:

It’s a great truth to remind our hearts of over and over. We can’t do anything or not do something for God not to love us. He cannot not love us. Hallelujah!

Jessica Brodie says:

It’s such a comfort to know this truth in my soul… he always loves me, forever and ever, no matter what.

Karen says:

Jessica, I’m thankful God’s love is unconditional, without prerequisites, can never be lost-only found, and is eternal. God bless!

Karen, this message is so beautiful. It really resonated with my heart. No matter how many times I read this in Scripture, it never gets old. God loves me!

Karen says:

Melissa, I think sometimes we gloss over familiar Christian concepts or scriptures as having heard it so many times, it kind of loses the powerful meaning it’s supposed to convey eternally. And since God’s love is eternal, there’s never been a day He didn’t love you. Not one.
