Thank You Jesus for Finding and Saving Me

“Thank You, Jesus, for finding me when I was spiritually lost, loving me when I was undeserving, and saving me through Your grace. My life is a testimony.”
At sixteen years old, I heard the true story of John 3:16. For God so loved Karen, that He gave His only Son, that if I believe in Jesus, I will not perish but have eternal life.
And my life was forever changed.
My name is Karen Friday and this is my redemption story. I was lost, now I’m found. I was blind, but now I see. Jesus rescued me from myself, other gods, sin, spiritual death, and the enemy.
The blood of Christ covers me. God saved me. I’m redeemed. The heavenly Father gave me eternal and everlasting life. I’m a new creation. I walk in freedom and victory over the power of darkness.
Abundant life is mine. Jesus is mine. The Holy Spirit lives in me. There’s an empty tomb and a risen Savior center stage in my story. Because God is alive and well, it is well with my soul.
Lost Until Jesus Found Me: Thank You Jesus
Before Christ entered my life, I was searching for purpose, peace, and fulfillment in places that could never satisfy. Like a sheep that wandered away from the shepherd, I was spiritually lost and unable to find my own way back.
“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.” John 10:27-28 (NIV)

The beautiful truth of the gospel is that Jesus did not wait for me to find Him. He pursued me with His love, mercy, and grace. Even when I ignored Him or went my own way, He continued calling me to Himself.
“For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.” Luke 19:10 (ESV)
His Grace Saved Me: Thank You Jesus

We can’t earn salvation. It is a gift from God. Through His death and resurrection, Jesus paid the price for my sins and offered me forgiveness and eternal life. What I could never do for myself, He did for me on the cross.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 (ESV)
My Life Changed When I Surrendered to Him
When I accepted Christ, my life changed. My identity, purpose, and future transformed when I met Jesus. Though I am still growing, I now walk with the assurance that I belong to Jesus.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. ” 2 Corinthians 5:17 (ESV)
Gratitude Becomes My Response: Thank You Jesus
Every day is an opportunity to thank Jesus for His saving grace. Gratitude moves me to worship, serve others, share my testimony, and live in a way that honors Him.
Jesus Is Still Finding and Saving the Lost
My story is a God story. The same Savior who found me is still reaching people today. Jesus continues to seek, save, restore, and redeem. Has the true story of John 3:16 become your story?
